Whether you are a surfer; tramper; nature lover or just looking for a place to relax and curl up with a book, this beach pad has all you need to enjoy Piha and its beautiful environs.
Sleeps up to six guests...
This beachfront bach ideally suited to two couples, can accommodate up to six guests.
There are three bedrooms.
The main bedroom upstairs has a large super king size bed and ensuite.
There are two further bedrooms downstairs with king and queen size beds and a shared bathroom.
There are also a further two single lounge beds in the downstairs TV area.
The property has two kitchens; one upstairs and one downstairs.
All linen is supplied as are basic pantry supplies - tea, coffee and spices etc.
Lazy days on the deck...
The covered deck is the hub of the house. With 180 degree views, from lion Rock to the northern headland, and with the old "Rivermouth" surf breaks directly out front you can laze away the day with one of the best beach views in Piha.
Relax in comfort...
With the deck featuring rollup bistro blinds, beer fridge, bar leaner and comfortable built in lounge area, you can sit and watch the surfers, and the horizon beyond - even when the weather isn't ideal.
A Quiet Retreat...
At the back of the house, there is a sheltered outdoor eating area with outdoor lounge, alfresco dining, BBQ and fireplace. A great alternative space to retreat to.
The beach, the beach, the beach...
Just steps away is the beach. Stroll down to touch the mighty Lion Rock, or further south to South Piha and around to The Gap.
There are many beautiful walks nearby including the track to the tranquil Kitekite Waterfall, the Mercer Bay Loop around the cliffs towards Karekare - at the top of the hill, and a bush walk just to the north up to the rock pool known locally as "The Coffin".

Surf Breaks on the doorstep...
Surf up a storm with all the Piha Beach breaks just steps from the house.
Old "River Mouth" is basically straight out the front with sand bank breaks directly in front and to the left and right of the House.
South about 200 metres is "Old Mans" just north of Lion Rock.
At the southern end of South Piha beach is the world famous "Piha Bar."
North from the house about 200m you have "Barnet", then as you walk up the beach there is the flagged area for swimming then "Monkey", then "Carpark" and "Caves".

The lovely space upstairs with the beautiful view meant we could enjoy meals with our teenagers and then they were based in the downstairs area and could sit around the fire and wander off to the beach.
