"Totally iconic kiwi bach stay! You honestly won’t believe the location. It’s THE OG Piha experience. Adorable bach right by the beach, glorious sunset views (including Lion Rock!), read on the deck, jam downstairs, stargaze by the outdoor fire or cozy upstairs by the indoor one…this is how kiwi beach stays should be done. Thank you so much Kirsty for all your kindness and for making us feel completely at home. We can’t wait to come back!"

"We loved staying here! The lovely space upstairs with the beautiful view meant we could enjoy meals with our teenagers and then they were based in the downstairs area and could sit around the fire and wander off to the beach. The decor was fun, the amenities were great and we could take the dog. We had a fantastic weekend!

"Kirsty was an amazing host, super responsive and her place was the perfect location for our crew to stay at. If we are ever filming in Piha again, we would definitely rebook here!"

From "The Lookout"

Surf up a storm with all the Piha Beach breaks just steps from the house.
Old "River Mouth" is basically straight out the front with sand bank breaks directly in front and to the left and right of the house. Usually it's Rights on the left, Lefts on the right and best at 3/4 tide.
South about 200 metres is "Old Mans" just north of Lion Rock.
At the southern end of South Piha beach is the world famous "Piha Bar."
North from the house about 200m you have "Barnet", then as you walk up the beach there is the flagged area for swimming then "Monkey" then "Carpark" and "Caves".
